Service Description
We claim our natural body back by making conscious choices towards our energy source. One important source of energy is through the food that we eat. Higher states of awareness can be reached though the consumption of prana (life force). That means learning how to eat proper food in proper quantity at an adequate time. Food could be anything that we consume through our five senses (mouth, nose, eyes, ears and skin). Meditation also helps to reestablish the prana flow. Another source of energy could be through the air that we breath. Relearning how to breath is another important part of the work through pranayama practices. It connects us to our inner self, and it allows us to not be identified to our mind. The practice of yoga helps as well to master our mind and use it as a tool. “We use the breath to master the mind and the mind to master the senses” Sandra Kozak - yogini What is a Physical assessment consultation? The Physical assessment consultation is a one-hour and a half video call. This 1:1 session will help you understand how to get in touch with your body based on Ayurveda wisdom. Ayurveda focuses on underlying causes, not just apparent symptoms. If you want support for long standing health issues or just want a better understanding of your overall health, the physical assessment can help provide clarity. Before your one-hour and a half consultation, you will be given a comprehensive wellness questionnaire that will dive deep into your lifestyle, behavior and patterns. We’ll want to better understand your individual health situation. The Physical Assessment consultation will provide a space where you can find support and be heard. We will discuss and assess your behaviors, eating patterns, sleep patterns, and overall lifestyle to understand any causes of imbalance. From there, you will receive a plan with simple, practical steps to help reestablish balance. Plans rely on consistency to help create routines that respect and redeem what the body needs. By working together, you'll be able to integrate Ayurveda’s principles into your daily routines in a natural and sustainable way.
